Berry Realty & Associates (Berry Realty) is a successful Real Estate, Property Management, and Land Development business that was founded in the Voluntary Acquisition and Relocation Services (VARS) community in 1960. Since the inception of Berry Realty, the firm has established a reputation for providing quality contract services to clients including the City of Phoenix, Maricopa County and the State of Arizona. 

Berry Realty has a solid history of property management experience through contracts including the management of Veterans Administration (VA) foreclosed residential properties from 1982 to 1994. Berry Realty managed the successful delivery of duties that included routine property inspections, bid procurement to contractors, invoicing and daily reporting. 

Then in 1989, Berry Realty was awarded a long term contract with the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Here again, Berry Realty successfully delivered property management services similar to the VARS contract. Furthermore, Berry Realty provided property management services to the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC). As Property Manager, Berry Realty provided services to two (2) buildings that encompassed over 70,000 square feet of office space. 

Since 2000, Berry Realty has been managing numerous properties for the City of Phoenix Aviation Department. The company’s first assignment included the management of 25 residential properties and 15 commercial properties. Then, in 2004, Berry Realty received another contract to directly manage properties acquired through the VARS program. Here, Berry Realty was responsible for all aspects of the daily property management and maintenance activities associated with the program. Since the start of the contract, the firm has managed nearly 800 properties. 

Mr. Virgil J. Berry is the Property Manager. With 35 years of experience in managing and maintaining over 4,000 residential, commercial and vacant properties for a wide range of public agencies.
